Bud Geer was born the first of twins at home near New London, Minnesota on September 18, 1921 to Henry and Jennie (Price) Geer.
At the age of 13, Bud and his family moved from the Minnesota farm to Park Grove, Montana where his father worked for the Army Corp of Engineers building the Fort Peck Dam; while Bud delivered newspapers and did other small odd jobs.
She attended several Braves games, Atlanta Falcons games, and many Georgia Tech football games.
Julia Judith Teske Britsch, 95, passed away peacefully at her home north of Hinsdale, December 27, 2017.
All will remember her as a sweet and kind person who loved her family and friends, the Braves, and believed that every dog needed a treat.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Arvid Hobby; her parents, Ralph Nelson and Mabel Nelson Masters; five sisters, Donna Rennick, Helen Blanchard, Masha Smith, Sharon Anderson and Julie Severeid; and four brothers, George, Buddy, Brent and Ralph Nelson.
In 1948 the family moved 12 miles North of Nashua to the farmstead known as the “Geer Place”.
In the early 1960’s Bud began tinkering in the Rodeo Stock business.
